我第一次見(jiàn)到大花臉，是在馬道巷南頭的小人書(shū)店里，小人書(shū)里水滸傳的李逵，拍的是舞臺(tái)劇里的大花臉，那個(gè)臉，怎一個(gè)花字了得！黑花花，白花花，不見(jiàn)眉眼鼻口！滿臉被花兒畫(huà)滿！我不知那是什么。
到了劇團(tuán)，當(dāng)老藝人米老師把個(gè)包拯的臉畫(huà)出，那包拯頭上一彎明月掛在黑壓壓的臉上，在舞臺(tái)上把包拯的威嚴(yán)，莊重，正義，果敢表現(xiàn)得得體，自然，美的讓我仿佛見(jiàn)到真的包拯一樣！在樣板戲里，你總是演最壞的壞蛋，【紅燈記】里的鳩山，【沙家浜】里的胡傳魁，唯一的好人是【一包紅糖】里的氣管炎！不是吧，好像在【杜鵑山】里，你是雷剛！
